How much does it cost to hire a skip?
The cost of hiring a skip is determined by location, size and contents.
When and how do I pay for my skip?
Payment is due on or before delivery of your skip and can be paid by contacting our office.
How long can I keep my skip?
Our standard hire period is for 2 weeks. For anything longer please arrange this with the team prior to delivery.
How much can I put in my skip?
Skips can only be filled to the top level and no more. This is due to weight restrictions and safety reasons.
How quickly can you get a skip to me?
Dependent on customers’ requirements and our workload, a same day delivery is available. Advanced bookings are welcome.
What can’t I put in my skip?
Anything classed as hazardous goods, such as:
- Solvents/ Paint
- Asbestos
- Fridges/Freezers
- Tyres
- Anything deemed to be of a hazardous nature.
Do I need a permit for my skip?
Skips which are to be placed on a road will require a permit and these can be obtained via the Fife Council website.
8 Cubic Yard
Also known as a “builders skip”, this is by far the most popular choice within the construction industry. This is the largest skip available for domestic soil disposal. Holds approximately 60-80 black bags.
